Participate!

To say, “typhoid has won, cholera has lost”, is framing the situation in a way that justifies not voting at all. To speak of a “lesser of two evils” implies that both are evil and thus it’s ok not to choose either one. This is dangerous and wrong. The fact that one is worse than the other simply means that the other is actually BETTER than the one. Seeing it this way makes it clear that it is mandatory to participate and actively make that choice by voting.
